Whipsnade Zoo - Meet The Tigers

Get up close and feed one of the world's most renowned big cats, the Amur tiger, with a special Meet the Tigers experience.

This is a once in a lifetime experience to meet and feed a beautiful Amur tiger. Hosted by an expert zoo keeper, you'll get a unique insight into the life of an Amur tiger and the chance to ask questions about these incredible animals.

£84 per person, 11am

This 20 minute VIP experience begins with a health and safety briefing from our expert zoo keeper. You will then help our zoo keeper feed an Amur tiger whilst learning more about these amazing animals.

Tip: Meet the Tigers takes place behind the scenes and due to the small group size, spectators are not permitted access to this area.

Important information to know before you book

• Admission to the zoo is not included and must be purchased separately. 
• Participants must be 12 years of age or older 
• Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult guardian - each adult must also have a valid zoo entry ticket. No more than 2 children per adult
• Pregnant or nursing mothers cannot participate
• Participants with learning or visual impairment must be accompanied by a carer. Accompanying carers can enter the behind the scenes area free of charge but will not participate in the experience.
• Wheelchair access is not available for this experience.
• Those with disabilities can be accompanied by an essential carer to support them during their experience. Essential carers can enter the experience area free of charge but do not take part in the experience.
